Hi, I’m Ksenia Zudinova, a Berlin wedding photographer. For more than ten years, I have been creating candid, atmospheric images for couples across Europe. From intimate ceremonies to large celebrations, my focus has always been on catching genuine moments and personal details.

My work with couples begins well before the wedding. We talk about everything that matters to you: the moments, the people and anything that should not be missed. We discuss the timeline, how best to use the location and any visual references you would like to share. We also get to know each other and establish the trust that will matter on the day. 

When the wedding finally arrives, I guide you calmly through the day while allowing you to remain fully present and enjoy the celebration with each other and your loved ones. 

From carefully selected photos, I create a personal visual story of your wedding. For couples who love a touch of nostalgia, I also offer a small selection of film photography, adding softness and timeless texture to the final collection.

The celebration might include a civil ceremony at a registry office (Standesamt), a walk through familiar neighbourhoods, or an intimate dinner with their closest friends and family.

We will meet for coffee in Berlin or arrange a relaxed video call. You can tell me more about your plans, ask any questions, and see whether we are a good fit.

3. Reserve your date

When you are ready to move forward, I will send you the contract and booking details. Once I have received the signed contract and booking fee, your date is officially reserved.

4. We plan the photography around your day

In the months leading up to your wedding, I will help you think through the timeline, photography coverage, and the moments that matter most to you. Shortly before the wedding, we will have a final call to go through everything calmly.

5. Enjoy your day while I preserve how it felt

On your wedding day, you can stay present with the people you love while I photograph the atmosphere, emotions, and moments unfolding around you. Afterwards, I will carefully edit your photographs and deliver your complete online gallery.

Over the years, I’ve learned that the most meaningful photographs are rarely the perfectly planned ones. They are often found in quiet pauses, conversations with loved ones, unexpected laughter, or the way the light falls across a room at the end of the evening.

My approach is rooted in observation. I am drawn to what unfolds naturally: the gestures, conversations and subtle shifts in atmosphere that give each wedding its character. I offer direction when it is useful, but never at the expense of the day itself.

Whether I’m photographing an intimate civil wedding in Berlin, a countryside celebration or a destination wedding elsewhere in Europe, my aim remains the same: to create photographs that bring back not only how the day looked, but how it felt to be there.

What does booking process look like?

Once you get in touch, we will arrange a video call or meet for coffee in Berlin to talk about your wedding plans and see whether we are a good fit. If you decide to move forward, I will send you the contract and booking fee details. Your wedding date is officially reserved once I have received both the signed contract and the fee. The remaining payment schedule and all practical details will be clearly outlined in the contract.

Do you shoot on film and use flash?

Yes. I photograph weddings using both digital and film, and a small selection of film images is included in most of my collections. I also use flash whenever it complements the atmosphere or helps create a particular mood. My approach combines natural documentary photography with editorial flash portraits and spontaneous party images.

How many hours of coverage do we need for a Berlin wedding?

It depends on your plans. For a civil ceremony and a short couple session, a few hours can be enough. For a more complete story with preparations, guests, portraits, and celebration, longer coverage usually works better.

Which languages do you work in?

I work primarily in English and Russian. I can also comfortably guide group photographs and simple moments throughout the wedding day in German. For the planning process and most of the communication on the day itself, I currently work with couples who are comfortable speaking English or Russian.

Do we need to choose one of your existing packages?

Not at all. My packages are simply a starting point, and the coverage can be tailored to suit your plans. Every wedding is different. You may be planning a multi-day destination wedding, a full-day celebration, an intimate gathering, or a short civil ceremony. Once I know more about your timeline and priorities, I can recommend the amount of coverage that best fits your day. Your wedding does not need to fit into a fixed package.

What are the best wedding photography locations in Berlin? 

The best location depends on the atmosphere you would like to create. For elegant architecture, I often recommend Museum Island, the Humboldt Forum, Gendarmenmarkt, or Charlottenburg Palace. Couples looking for greenery and a quieter setting may prefer Körnerpark or the area around Wannsee, while Tempelhofer Feld, Kreuzberg, Prenzlauer Berg, and Neukölln are ideal for a more urban Berlin feel. As part of the planning process, I will help you choose a location that reflects your personalities and complements the atmosphere of your wedding day.
