Destination Wedding Photographer in Europe

Candid, atmospheric, and very much yours

I’m Ksenia, a wedding photographer based in Berlin and available for weddings, elopements and celebrations across Europe.

I photograph the day as it truly feels — the people you love, the small in-between moments, the movement, the atmosphere and everything you may not notice while it is happening. My approach is mostly candid, with gentle guidance whenever you need it, so you can stay present and enjoy your celebration without feeling like the whole day has turned into a photoshoot.

Whether you are planning an intimate elopement, a wedding weekend in Italy or France, or bringing your closest people together somewhere meaningful in Europe, I would love to tell the story in a way that feels natural, elegant and completely yours.

I’d love to hear more about your wedding in Europe and what feels most important to you.

Planning from the US? We can keep it simple.

Planning a wedding in Europe while living in the United States can feel like a lot to organise from a distance. My aim is to make the photography part feel calm, clear and genuinely enjoyable.

We will get to know each other before the wedding, talk through your plans and create an approach that feels right for your celebration. From our first call to the final gallery, everything can be organised remotely and around your time zone.

More than one day.

Some celebrations begin long before the ceremony and continue well into the following day.

I am available not only for the wedding itself, but also for welcome drinks, rehearsal dinners, pool parties, farewell brunches and quiet sessions together before or after the celebration.

Photographing more than one part of the wedding allows me to tell a fuller story,  not only how everything looked, but also how it felt to bring your favourite people together in Europe.

A little about me, and where I work

I’m Ksenia, a photographer based in Berlin. I’ve been photographing people for more than 15 years, and what still interests me most is everything that happens when people stop thinking about the camera, the glances, movement, conversations, slightly chaotic moments and all the small things that make one celebration completely different from another.

Berlin is home, but I travel throughout Europe for weddings and celebrations, particularly to Italy, France, Spain and around Germany. I love the contrast of it all, a long dinner outside a villa in Tuscany, a château in France, a weekend by the sea, or something much less traditional.

Wherever you decide to gather everyone, my approach stays the same: I want the photographs to feel like your people, your place and your day.

A few things you might be wondering

You're based in Europe, can we plan everything from the US?

Yes. You can plan everything with me remotely, from our first conversation to signing the contract and receiving your final gallery.

Before booking, we will have a video call so that you can tell me more about yourselves and what you are planning. It is also a chance for you to get to know me and make sure that my approach feels right for you.

What about travel costs?

You'll know the travel costs before you book, I don't add unexpected expenses later.

They depend on where you're getting married and how long I'm staying. And if I'm already travelling nearby for another wedding, I can sometimes keep those costs lower.

Can we do everything in English?

Absolutely. All our communication, calls and planning can be in English.

Can you photograph the whole wedding weekend?

Yes. It can be just the wedding day or several days together, welcome drinks, rehearsal dinner, the wedding, the party, brunch the next morning.

I especially love photographing more than one day because by then I know your people a little better, and they know me too.

How do calls work with the time difference?

We can choose a time that works comfortably for both of us. I regularly arrange calls outside standard European working hours when needed, so you will not have to join a meeting in the middle of your workday.

Closer to the wedding, we will also have a final planning call to go through the timeline, locations and everything that matters to you.

Do you shoot film too?

Yes. A selection of analogue film photographs is included in every collection.

I use film alongside digital photography rather than for every moment. I love what it adds - the texture, softness and little bit of unpredictability.

How do we book and pay from the US?

Everything can be organised online. You'll receive your contract and payment schedule digitally, and payments are made in euros.

You can use Wise, PayPal or transfer directly to my European bank account — whichever is easiest for you. I'll send you all the details when it's time to book.

When will we get our photos?

You'll receive a first little preview within around 48 hours.

The full gallery usually takes between 2 and 6 weeks, depending on the coverage you've chosen.

ALIDA AND RADJAB

Thank you, Ksenia, for an amazing photoshoot! 🤍 The photographer truly understands people and creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Every photo feels like a small piece of art, full of real emotions. My best experience! Highly recommend!

A day, a weekend, or something in between

My collections are flexible because weddings rarely fit perfectly into a template.

Maybe you're planning one intimate afternoon together. Maybe everyone is flying to Europe and you're making a whole weekend of it. Tell me what you're imagining, and I'll help you work out how much photography actually makes sense.
